Case Example
A client comes to you for treatment of overall sore muscles, a feeling of heaviness and sluggishness, general fatigue and many active trigger points. She also complains of insomnia, allergies, painful menstruation and irritable bowel syndrome. Doctors are not certain whether she has Fibromyalgia or MS. She also complains of being unable to focus properly and not being able to think clearly. She also complains of a sweet craving.
From the client’s history and questionnaire, you ascertain she is predominantly Earth element. You palpate the points most related to the Earth element and find they are sore. You put essential oils like Tarragon, Peppermint and Dill on acupressure points for the constitution and peppermint, lavender and orange for the mind. You do Internal Organ Massage and Visceral balancing along the Conception Vessel connecting to the Third Eye and Governing Vessel 20 before doing some acupressure followed by a massage with most of the above oils.
In this way you have addressed numerous problems that relate to her muscular aching and also treated the root cause which was qi stagnation and deficiency in certain meridians and organs. |
